The TV & Radio Unit is proud to announce its cooperation and support with the upcoming Young Filmmakers Competition, which is being organized by UNDP–ACT. The competition has been introduced as a way of attracting young aspiring filmmakers from both Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot communities to have the opportunity to work together on several projects relating to individual and social issues that affect the youth in Cyprus today.
All finalists will be provided with equipment and facilities, as well as theoretical and practical training offered by the Unit. They will utilize the Unit's digital video cameras, as well as the Digital Lab, which offers the professional non-linear editing software, Avid Xpress Pro.
The films are
expected to be completed by October

Don’t miss out on this fun night; come and watch the commercials from the
winners of the annual International Advertising Festival. The screening will
take place on Thursday, 14th December 2006 from 18.30-20.30 in the Cine Studio. The
event is free of charge and open to the public.
