Researchers

Researchers are any persons who are engaged in research in cooperation with academic or
research groups within the University of Nicosia/Intercollege community.

To have borrowing access, fill in an on-line “Researcher’s Form” (also found at the Circulation Desk). This application
will determine your borrowing status as to whether you are allowed to use materials in the library or take
them out and whether you are a paying or non-paying researcher. Part of the form has to be filled in by you
with your personal details and the nature and length of your research. Another part has to be filled in by the Department/Director with whom you will be working.

Your borrowing privileges start on the day the registration process is completed and are suspended on the date indicated on the Researcher's Form.

If you need to extend your privileges you need to fill in a new "Researcher’s Form" for updating your record.

In the case where you will need to use the library for less than 2 weeks, you will be granted borrowing rights accordingly.

Researchers are allowed to borrow 15 items for 3 months and there is a fine of 30c per item per day for late returns.
